The Idaho Real Estate Commission (IREC) wants to make sure you’re well acquainted with annual updates and topics of particular note. Idaho Commission Core 2022 provides you with a strong foundation in legislative changes, important commission guidelines, troublesome trends and how to avoid them, and issues related to water rights and easements.
This three and a half-hour course focuses on timely legislative updates; issues related to license maintenance, continuing education, property disclosures, and forgery; and lessons you can glean from recent real estate case studies.
Course highlights include:
- 2022 legislative updates
- Idaho case law updates, including property taxes, homestead exemptions, commercial easements, water rights transfers, mechanic liens, and restrictive covenants related to race
- Commission Guideline #13 – Real Estate Advertising
- Troublesome industry trends as identified by the IREC’s Enforcement Department in collaboration with the Education Department
- Water rights and easement issues, include rights-of-way, notice requirements, landowner rights, and more
- Case studies from both in and outside of Idaho that directly impact a licensee’s daily real estate practice
