Minnesota real estate professionals play an essential role in the pursuit of equitable homeownership. Of course, a licensee aims to help clients buy and sell properties, but there's more to the job than just completing transactions. Licensees must be socially responsible, which means they're prepared to look for solutions that benefit everyone and to be proactive in their interactions with clients and willing to adapt when faced with new challenges.
This 3.75-hour mandatory course is designed to help licensees learn how to become socially responsible and do their part to make homeownership accessible to everyone within the law. The course provides information on agency law and an overview of RESPA, examines common interest communities in Minnesota and Minnesota's fair housing laws and tools, and guides licensees through best practices when working with first-time homebuyers.
