Negotiation is at the heart of every real estate transaction. To represent clients effectively, licensees must navigate offers, counteroffers, and terms with skill, professionalism, and a clear understanding of both ethical responsibilities and client priorities.
This live online course equips real estate professionals with practical frameworks, micro-scripts, and checklists to move confidently through the four phases of negotiation—planning, opening, bargaining, and closing—while safeguarding consumers and delivering exceptional client service. Through realistic scenarios, role plays, and discussion, participants will learn to convert objections into options, document agreements clearly, and adapt communication across cultures and languages.

- Negotiation strategies in varied situations: Use LAER + OPTIONS on price, repairs/credits, appraisal risk, financing hiccups, and cross-cultural scenarios.
- Set realistic client goals: Ground expectations in comps, timelines, contingencies, and clear tradeoffs with response deadlines.
- Know your role & serve inclusively: Distinguish facilitator vs. advocate; apply agency duties (OLD CARD), handle offers objectively, and practice cultural awareness (interpreters, property-focused language, PAUSE bias checks).
