A mortgage loan originator (MLO) licensed in Oregon is required to complete 10 total hours of continuing education annually. This includes:

  • Three hours on federal mortgage-related laws
  • Two hours on ethics, fraud, and consumer protection
  • Two hours on traditional and non-traditional mortgage products
  • One hour on elective content
  • Two hours of Oregon-specific education
