This course provides 40 hours of instruction in principles and practices of real estate, required of all applicants for a broker’s license in Vermont. Topics include agency relationships and contracts, real property ownership/interest, finance, real property, marketing regulations, property management, real estate calculations, the Vermont real estate commission, licensure, regulations governing activities of licensees, laws related to real estate, and broker topics. Additionally, students will practice simulation-style activities as part of the course, in preparation for their licensing exam.
